Xd Trigger Job
- Sep 25, 2006 A company called Trapper Gun sold a spring kit for the Taurus PT-92 that was the subject of an article years ago. It lightened and smoothed the trigger. Article was done during the winter, and was sure-fire with multiple ammo brands. Oh, and there was mention of a strange instruction about how to condition the sear. Can't remember it exactly.

- The new S&W's with MIM trigger & hammer are now as smooth as a Taurus, but rarely smoother. Both S&W and Taurus are almost always smoother than Ruger. Regardless, one grip I have with Taurus revolvers is the shape of their trigger. Smooth trigger action or not, the shape is just enough different from a S&W and Ruger to make the pull a bit stiffer.
Trigger Job How To
I picked up a 9 shot SS 4' Taurus 94 with about a 20# trigger pull. Nice tight little gun and I thought I would replace the hammer spring to lighten it up. Midway USA does not offer it, so I tried Wolff Springs direct. They have springs for the small frame Taurus, but do not recommend them for the 94/941. I understand that rimfires take a little heavier hammer strike to be dependable. Has anybody replaced the hammer spring in a Taurus .22, or lightened the trigger pull another way? All responses are appreciated. Thanks.

Taurus’s locking feature is, however, voluntary to engage by the owner. All Taurus revolvers do use a transfer bar and have the firing pin located in the frame for safety. God of war 1 ps2 iso. Having the firing pin in the frame, to my knowledge, was first introduced Andrew Fyrberg in 1891 and later perfected, I believe, by Ruger in the 1970’s. Dec 26, 2011 The driver bits are squared off to fit the screws of a gun better, the kit has all sorts of specialty drivers in it and the Arkansas Stone set will allow me the precision needed to do a good trigger job on this gun without removing any material while I'm doing it.
